How to use this tool

IMPORTANT: Before you start, orient your cube with the White center on top and the Green center facing you. This matches the color scheme used below (White=Up, Green=Front, Red=Right, Orange=Left, Blue=Back, Yellow=Down). Keep track of this orientation as your fixed reference the whole time you're entering colors — for the Left, Front, Right and Back faces, just look straight at each one and read its 9 stickers left-to-right, top-to-bottom as you see them. For the Up and Down faces, tilt the cube (or lean over it) to look straight at that face while still keeping track of which side is "front" (green) and which is "back" (blue) — don't spin the cube to a new orientation to view them.

Enter the colors of every sticker on your scrambled 3x3 cube below (the center squares are fixed — they define which color belongs to which side). Then click Check & Solve. The tool will tell you whether the pattern you entered is actually possible on a real cube, and if so, it will calculate a solution and animate it for you.
